      In this month of the Immaculate Conception, I find myself reflecting on the role of Our Blessed Mother in raising the son of God, Jesus. Imagine such a responsibility!? It is safe to say each of us, we who care for our children, the children of others, understand what goes into providing for them, protecting them and advocating on their behalf.

      It is with great pride and joy that I share with you Sacred Heart's performance in last year's ELA State exam earned our children and their ELA teachers the esteemed Superintendents Cup. This award recognizes schools throughout Parish and Regional schools whose performance and improvement merits such a distinction.
